Frances: Good mornig, I'am Frances Figueroa I'am here for my appointment with Ms. Sandra Bates.

Karoline: Ah, yes. Good morning. Ms. Bates will be here shortly. Can I offer you something to drink while you wait?

Frances: No, thank you. But do you have a phone that i could use?

Karoline: Certainly, we also have a fax machine if you need it as well.

Frances: No, but thak you, I only need to use the phone.

Karoline: Then follow me. The phone is this way.

Frances: Thank you very much.

(a few minutes later)

Frances: Thank you again for the help, miss.

Karoline:You're welcome.  Is there anything else i can do for you?

Frances: Oh, Yes. Do you happen to know how for the station is from here.

Karoline: It's about two miles from here but it only takes ten minutes by taxi. Can I get one ready for you?

Frances: Yes please. Could you suggest a time for the station.

Karoline: I can check the times for you and let you know after your appointment Ms. Bates is ready to see you now.  Follow me, please.

Petter: Have you been to San Francisco before?

Janis: No, it's my firs visit.

Petter: a) Well, I hope you like it.

Janis: I'm sure I will.

Petter: And... er, is the hotel all right?

Janis: Yes, it's very comfortable.

Petter: b) I'm glad so, do you have much time here in the U.S.? Are you staying long?

Janis: No, I have to go back tomorrow afternoon.

Petter: c) Oh, I see, You'll have to come back again!

Janis: d) Of course, I will.

Petter: So what time's your  flight tomorrow?

Janis: In the evening, 6:35.

Petter: Well, I can get you a taxi if you like, to get you there in good time.

Janis: e) Yes, you can thank you.

Petter: No problem at all. Was it a good fligh today?

Janis: No, it wasn't actually.

Petter: f)________________ g)________________?

Janis: It was raining-quite hard. There was a lot of turbulence.
